Answer:
In earlier times, most of the metals were not discovered. In Mesopotomia firstly bronze came into use with the mixing of copper and tin. Later they realized that the resources they had were not sufficient so they started trading with other civilizations. After the bronze age, the iron age came to existence. In the Iron age, the Assyrians of the north created the empire. The last of them ' Assurbanipal collected a library at his capital, Nineveh in the north. He collected all the clay tablets and fitted them inside a frame made of copper. Later when agriculture flourished, the copper tools were used intensively among the famers. The tools like shovels, ploughs, axes, spears etc. were used. During the time of excavations many copper tools, everything things and coins were taken out from the ground which showed the extensive use of copper in earlier times.
