The voyage on the Antelope
proved disastrous for the Gulliver because in the East Indies, the Antelope come
across the violent storm in which many crewmen died because of the burden of
work and poor diet. Other than this, the remaining crews were in a bad
condition. On the 5th of November, when the ship was driven and
split into two because of the wind, Gulliver and the six crewmen boarded a row
boat to escape. The end result was, Gulliver lost track of his friends due to
the storm, but was able to swam to the safe shore.
