The farmers were exploited in many different ways.they were forced to pay taxes.if they cannot afford to pay the taxes then the zamidars either hit them with rope or else take away something valuable from the farmers house.hey had to follow all the orders of the zamidar.they had to take the blame of any mistake done by the zamidars family.
