The experience when he was thrown into the pool shook the writer badly. After some hours he was able to walk back home. He was feeling very weak. He was trembling. He shook and cried when he lay on his bed. He could eat nothing that night. For days , a terrible fear his heart. He never went back to that pool again.

Icy horror would grab his heart. In ruined his fishing trips. It deprived him of the joys of canoeing, boating and swimming.
