Tan∅= -1 -------(1)

We know that -

Tan(90+∅)= -cot∅ ------(2)

Than if we put 45° in place of ∅ in Equation (2)

Tan(90+45) = -cot45

and we know that Cot45 = 1

Then-

Tan135° = -1

Now put the value of (-1) into the equation (1)

Tan∅ = Tan135°

Tan is cancelled by Tan

______________
∅= 135° Ans.
