Hey Ihita:)

At the conclusion of the War in 1792, the Treaty of Seringapatnam was signed between Tipu Sultan and the English East India Company. Tipu Sultan was forced to cede half his kingdom to the trio of the British, the Marathas and the Nizam. Mysore was asked to pay a humongous war indemnity of 330 lakh rupees.

Explanation:

Tipu, who gained control of Mysore after his father's death in December 1782, maintained an implacable hatred of the British, and declared not long after signing the 1784 treaty that he intended to continue battle with them given the opportunity.

He became Haughty at last and was confident about his win but it happened just opposite.
