Several tribal groups earned their living by herding and rearing animals and by selling forest produce. Tribals depended on traders for obtaining their supply of commodities (such as grains) which were not produced by them. Traders sold these commodities at a very high rate. Tribals also depended on moneylenders to meet the need of cash requirements. Moneylenders charged a high rate of interest from them, pushing them into debt and poverty. Thus, tribals considered moneylenders and traders as evil outsiders.

As Tribal People are not so Rich, therefore the Traders & Moneylenders would offer them a huge amount of loans which they would be unable to return.
Secondly, they retrieve their money back by capturing their forest land.
