How did u all get -36 in the second blank can u tell please

if we will multiply the denominator 7 from 12 we will get 84 similarly we will multiply -3 from 12 so we will get -36

See, I think

In the first case if you multiply the denominator 7 with 7 then you will get 49, in the same way if you multiply the numerator – 3 with 7, you will get – 21.

In the second case we can see 84, it refers 7 had been multiplied by 12. So if you multiply – 3 with 12, you will get – 36.

It will be like —

–3/7 = –21/49 = –36/84.

* – 3 × 7 = – 21, 7 × 7 = 49

* – 3 × 12 = – 36, 7 × 12 = 84
