Uncle Podger cut his finger while saving the glass coming out from the frame of the picture that fell while he was trying to hang it. He failed to find his handkerchief because it was in his coat’s pocket; and no one was able to find the coat because he was sitting on it. He needed the handkerchief to tie his cut finger.
