● Makar Sankranti is also called as harvest festival or festival of farmers.
● IT is celebrated for three days in Andhra Pradesh.
● First day is celebrated as Bhogi where Pooja is done to Agricultural animals and we also set bommala koluvu on that day.
● In the evening children are covered with Bhogi Pallu.
● On the second day it is celebrated as Makar Sankranti where and sisters are are paid prayers.
● On the third day it is celebrated as Kanuma where we fly kites and enjoy a lot greeting each other.
