How differ virus from other cell?

The virus semi living organisms that become active when they are in the host body and they behave as non living out of the host cell. And the virus only made of the proteins and the their genetic material as DNA and RNA. Where the cells are the living ,the cell has got cellular organs like lisosme, cell membrane, nuclear membrane, ncleolus, ribosome etc.
