digestion of proteins does not take place in stomach,, it occurs in small intestine with the help of proteolytic enzymes which are secreted by intestinal glands

but actual digestion occurs in small intestine
in stomach only proteins break down in to peptones and peptides
from peptides amino acids which are simplest form of proteins R obtained in small intestine
