how do (a) the pole strength and (b) the magnetic moment of each part of a bar magnet change if it is cut into two part equal part along its length?

The pole strength of the magnet remains same as these are assumed as hypothetical magnetic charges placed at the ends and do not change.

While magnetic moment becomes half because number of current loops becoms half to the original.
