biotic factors are non-living objects and biotic factors are the living ones in an environment. both abiotic factors and biotic factors form an ecosystem. an ecosystem is an area it environment where both are dependent on each other.

biotic factors can't survive without abiotic factors. we all are biotic and our life is impossible without abiotic factors. wind, sunlight, soil, water etc are abiotic factors. can u imagine life without them??

plants also need water, air, sunlight, minerals etc. if they don't get any one of these, then they can't survive.

in this way, abiotic factors directly affect biotic factors.
