both acid and base cancel each other's effect..in a reaction
During a reaction, energy in the form of heat is evolved. Acid + Base → Salt + Water + Heat.
For example, when sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is added to hydrochloric acid (HCl), sodium chloride (NaCl) and water (H2O) are obtained
If you like it follow me and punch the brainiest button in the face like a boss

HOLA BUDDY!!!!!

It's a tendency of acid to react with base and vice versa.....
WHY THEY REACT?
_____________________
When the acid and base are mixed together to react they actually neutrilize each other.....and at last they form a their respective salts with water (H2O)...In this case the H(+) [positive ion]
(cation) that of acids react with the OH(-) [negative ion] (anion) of the base......this combition of the acid's anion and base's cation result in the formation of a salt along with water(H2O).........✌️
NOW AN EXAMPLE FOR YOUR BETTER UNDERSTANDING-------------------------:
_________________________________
A Very common one.._-
NaOH + HCl------- NaCl + H2O.....
Here there is sodium hydroxide as a base (NaOH) and hydrochloric acid as an acid(HCl)
.......
SO AFTER REACTION---✌️
FORMS------salt (common salt) NaCl associated with H2O .............!!!!!!!!
SOME MORE EXAMPLES-------
2NaOH+ H2SO4 ------ Na2SO4 + 2H2O
etc................ . ..............
HOPE U CAN GET IT!!;;;;;
ITS VERY SIMPLE☺️☺️☺️☺️
THANKS❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
