amoeba acquires it's food with the help of pseudopodia. amoeba went to the food with help of pseudopodia and covers the food with a u shape. it intake the food and utilise it for energy.

When amoeba observes its food it increases its area and surrounds the food and Takes the food in with the helps of pseudopodia
