Whenever a  particle comes in contact with amoeb it forms pseudopodia(false feet) and when the particle enters into pseudopodia amoba releases many digestive enzymes to absord nutrients and after absorbing it excretes the waste product!!  And the cavity disappears that is the reason also we call it temporary stomach.
