how do ants identify sweets kept in tin

 Ants like the taste so they keep on eating the sweet n low but the ants don't realize that the sugar expands and when they eat to much their insides explodes.
Ants have a far better sense of smell than humans do, and they can find things by smell even if they are out of sight.

ANTS HAVE A VERY DEEP SENSE OF SMELL ,THIS HELPS THEM TO IDENTIFY THE SWEETS ,EVEN WITHOUT SEEING.
