hii friend!!
These plants require special adaptations for living submerged in water, or at thewater's surface. The most common adaptation is aerenchyma, but floating leaves and finely dissected leaves are also common. Aquatic plants can only grow inwater or in soil that is permanently saturated with water.

Aquatic plants have a waxy coating over leaves which protects them from over hydration... The surface of the plant itself extracts all the necessary minerals from the water... The root also extracts minerals from soil if they are submerged... And
