How do autotrophs obtain CO2 and N2 to make their food?

They obtain CO2 from the surrounding atmosphere through there stomata and they obtain nitrogen in the form of nitrites and nitrides from the soil directly .

For the preparation of food, Autotrophs obtain CO₂ directly from the atmosphere from the stomata by the process of diffusion

But, they cannot obtain N₂ directly from the atmosphere, or rather they cannot synthesis the N₂ in the air , as they are bonded by triple bonds and hard to break. They obtain N₂ from the soil, where it has already been broken down by the nitrogen-fixing bacteria
