How do auxin promote the growth of tendril around a support?
Answers
Explanation:
Auxins produced in the shoot tip move downwards in the plant. These auxins cause cell elongation in growing tissues. In the tendrils auxins move away from the point of contact with the supporting object. More growth occurs in the side away from support. As a result of unequal growth on the two sides tendril coils around the support. HOPE YOU HELPED THE ANSWER
HEY FRIEND HERE IS UR ANSWER ,
Auxins are the plant hormones produces at the tip of a shoot and root. Auxins are present at the tip of tendrils. When tendrils are attached around any support their growth is slowed down as auxins are sensitive to touch. This make them move to the other side of the tip to get support this makes the other side grow faster than the side of tendril in contact with the support and the tendril bends towards the support.
