auxins are the growth hormones in any part of plant where the auxins are more that part will grow more and auxins do not like or work in sunlight

when the tendrils come into the contact with the support then the auxin is release in the part of the the tendril which is not contact with the support and the part which biscuits in contact with the support remains shorter so is seems that the tendrils climb around the support
