so let me explain

people deposit money in bank the bank gives them as loan at some interest

the person returns the money with interest the bank gives depositor their money with interest which bank gave them before depositing the left over money is kept with bank

for example

rajesh deposits 100 rupees in xyz bank

ramesh takes loan from that bank of 100 rupees

now xyz bank charges ramesh some interest

ramesh returns bank let's say 180 rupees

now xyz bak returns 150 to rajesh for depositing money in their bank

xyz bank gets 30 rupees as their profit
