• Biotic Factors :- Biotic factors are the diseases or pests or insects. They may greatly reduce crop production as pests destroy crops by feeding on them, insects too feed on the leaves of some plants and diseases destroy the leaves and some other parts of the plant.

• Abiotic Factors :- Abiotic factors can be stated as those which affect the net crop production of the crop. They can be rain or winds or storms or even temperature.

Biotic factors such as insects,pests reduce the crop production. A pest cause damage to crops . Weeds also reduce the crop productivity by competing with the crops for nutrients. Abiotic factors such as temperature,w ind ,rain etc can also affect the crop production
