how do biotic and abiotic factors in stored grains leads to poor marketability? How can those factors be controlled?​

Biotic factors like bacteria, microbes, ants, pests and abiotic factors like moisture and temperatures cause poor storage and marketability.

We can control them by storing the grains properly, apply neem leaves or turmeric, pesticides and air tight rooms.

Biotic factors - Stored grain are cut insects like rat,wheat weevil,rice weevil.

Abiotic factor- Temperature,humidity, Water ,soil.

Preventions -We use insecticide to kill these insects......and we store grains according to temperature and humidity percentage .....we stored in dry or cold storage as term to the temperature....
