Cardiac muscle fibres resemble both straited smooth muscle fibres as it is uninucleated like smooth muscle fibres and have dark and light bands known as straitions like straited muscle fibres.Moreover it is comtrolled by both central autonomous nervous.

The cells of cardiac muscles are uninucleated means it has only one nucleus that exist in the center and they are also involuntry muscle that is they do not work according to our will, this same feature is followed by smooth muscle cell. This is why cell of cardiac muscle resembles with smooth muscle cell.

The cells of cardiac muscle has light and dark bands that is known as striations which are very faint this is similar in the case of striated muscle. This is why is resemles with striated muscle.
