Cardiac muscle fibers look a lot like both smooth and striated muscle fiber because it is uninucleated & has dark as well as light bands called as striations.

However, it is controlled by means of both central autonomous nervous systems.

Cardiac muscle is kept under involuntary control so it tends to contract rhythmically under autonomous nervous control rather than conscious control.

Cardiac muscles have dark and light bands which are very faint called as strations which is similar in the case of striated muscles. Cardiac muscles thus resembles with striated muscles due to the appearance .Cardiac muscles are uninucleated and involuntary muscles that is they do not work according to our will which is similar in the case of unstriated or smooth muscles . Thus cardiac muscles also resembles with smooth muscles.
