Cardiac muscle (heart muscle) This type of muscle is found solely in the walls of the heart. It has similarities with skeletal muscles in that it is striated and with smooth muscles in that its contractions are not under conscious control. However this type of muscle is highly specialised.

Answer:

The contraction and relaxation of alary muscles help in blood circulation in cockroach.

Explanation:

The alary muscles are those muscles which are seen attached to the diaphragm of the cockroach. When alary muscles contracts, blood passes from hemocoel, which moves to the pericardium and through Ostia it reaches the heart.

On the other hand, when the alary muscle relaxes, it leads to the contraction of heart muscles which leads to propulsion of blood into anterior aorta. This blood reenters the hemocoel where it bathes the organ and appendages.
