How do cytokinesis and telophase differ?

1. In telophase each sister chromatid which reaches at the opposite poles starts uncoiling, thinning and elongating. They form form a network like structure called chromatin reticulum.

2. Around each chromatin reticulum at the two poles, reappears nuclear membrane giving rise to two daughter nuclei

3. Nucleoli reappear in each daughter nucleus

4. Spindle fibres, astral rays disappear.

5. Centrioles duplicate

This is what all happens in telophase and we can easily differ telophase from cytokinesis as in cytokinesis only the cytoplasm divides and nothing else happens other than division. Then the parent cell forms two daughter cells or four
