Desert lizards cope with the variations in their environment in the following way -
• The desert lizards mainly faces hot climatic conditions in most of the time and that's why the anatomy of the desert lizards is adapted in such a way,that the body of the lizard absorbs least possible heat.
• Also,the lizards stays in the holes under the land surface to avoid the direct emission of solar heat.
• To run on the sand, there are fringe like scales on the feet of the lizards.
• These lizards can change body colour according to the environmental heat to achieve a natural camouflage.
