The repetition of sound caused by the reflection of sound wave is called an echo.
An echo is heard when sound is reflected from hard surface such as cliff or tall brick wall.
Echo can be heard if the minimum distance between the source of sound and the obstacle is nearly 17.2m.
so, in a normal room echoes are not heard. So there is no effect of echoes on quality of that we hear.
