the two types of glands on the basis of ducts that is endocrine and exocrine glands . endocrine gland differs from exocrine glands by lacking the ducts and releasing its hormones or products directly into the bloodstream of the organism.

endocrine glands:they are said to be ductless glands.these glands help in the regulation of the functioning of the human body by releasing some chemicals directly into blood.
the endocrine hormones performs several functions in the body like,hormones control the sugar levels,salts and calcium levels in the blood.
but whereas other glands will not perform these.and other glands have ducts.
example: sweat glands and salivary glands
