There are basically two types of glands
Exocrine glands and
Endocrine glands.
Endocrine glands are differ from other glands because they secrets hormones directly into the blood rather than through a duct, for example- pituitary gland .
Whereas the exocrine glands secrets it's hormones into a duct to the targeted organs, for example- Salivary gland.
