endothermic reactions absorb heat from the surrounding and thus the temperature of surrounding decreases thus they are endothermic

Endothermic reactions need heat energy for the activations of reactants and for formation of products they absorb energy from its surrounding area

eg. if reaction is taking place in aqueous sol. and thus absorb energy from sol.only and decrease the temperature of sol.
