Gases have weak intermolecular attraction forces becoz due to the different structure and composition of different molecules. each molecule has a different value of intermolecular attraction at specific temperature.
And as we know that intermolecular attraction is inversely proportional to the temperature.... so at a specific temoerature and pressure the intermolecular attraction becomes so weak that it cannot hold the molevules together and the molecules start mob
Ving in random directions and thus intermolecular spaces inctease.. so there is a decrease in intermolecular attraction

In gases the particles or atoms r very much widely scattered. This is the reason that it's intermolecular forces r weak
