hey mate first of plz check your question again..I guess it must be "intramolecular " instead of "intermolecular" and if it is "intramolecular " then here is your answer:

_________________________________________

The particles of gases are very loosely packed.

so...due to this loose arrangement of particles, the force between them is weak...because the particle are very far from each other so the force between them is weak . Like if we compare it with solids...so we all know that solids have the strongest intramolecular forces between them and it is just because of their ...tightly packed arrangement of molecules .

hope it helps.

and check your question and plz don't forget to follow me and if u like my answer then plz mark it as a brainiest answer.

thank you:)
