These elections are organized at the same time in all the constituencies, i.e. on the same day or within few days. Every political party, contesting the elections nominate one candidate from their party for standing in the elections.

There are three types of elections namely-
general election
bye-election
mid term election .
●General election are the election which are commonly organised in all or most of the constituency at same time of the country or the state.general election are conducted to form a new lok sabha or state assembly.
