Over time the first established and functioning government with a real land mass was Sumeria. The Sumerians had some sort of a monarchy government and set up the basis for modern day governing nations.
From Sumeria nations like Mesopotamia, Egypt, Israel, Palestine, and the tribes of Ethiopia were formed and developed there own types of governments.
From these nations people started to travel and migrate all over the world and new civilizations and religions were made leading to 100–200 more nations to modern day society
