Gymnosperms are non-flowering plants. There seeds are naked ; seed is not enclosed inside fruit.

Gynosperms have nake seeds(i.e without covering) whereas angiosperms have covered seeds due to presence of flower in angiosperms which in future the ovule becomes seed and ovary becomes fruit(covering)
