HOW DOES IT HELP?
The characteristic properties of hair such as its length and the spacing between the hair traps a layer f air between the hair and the skin .This layer prevents the heat to flow away from the body in normal sense it acts as an insulator
Density of the fur when increases they can tolerate more coldness in the atmosphere
Fur traps dead air next to an animal’s body and creates a blanket of insulation. More fur equals more insulation
animals exposed to cold temperatures, a winter coat is one of the ways they keep warm
hope it helps!!
