The function of heart is to pump the oxygenated blood to various organs of our body.
Blood flows from the auricles into the ventricles through the valves(auriculo-ventricular valves). The deoxygenated blood from the right chambers of the heart travels to the lungs, gets purified, enters the left auricle and gets pumped to the various organs from the left ventricle.
Various blood vessels help in transportation of blood.
