How do herbivores differ from carnivores?

HERBIVORES:

*Herbivores eat mainly plant material and are generally but not always near the bottom of the food chain.

CARNIVORES:

* Carnivores eat mainly meat, other animals and/or insects and tend to be at the top of the food chain, though not always.

OMNIVORES:

* Omnivores are able to eat both. Humans are omnivores, for example.

Herbivores:- Those animals who eat only plants or depends on plants. Ex- Goat,Cow

Carnivores :- Those animals who eat only flesh or meats of other animals. Ex- Tiger,Lion.
