homoglobus are organ which are similar in the underlying anatomy but perform different functions. Like a human arm and a bat's wing.
these homoglobus organs poins towards a common ancestor from which these organisms envolved. the organ present in the common ancestor envolved differently for the different species these organs are therefore a nice evidence for evolution
