Humidity and rainfall are important components of the climate of a place.

When the humidity increases the the climate becomes very uncomfortable and when the humidity decreases the climate becomes dry. (Mainly in winter)

And rainfall is the basic component of the climate, the rainfall occurance mainly decreases the overall temperature and the non-occurance of the rainfall for a long time , increases the overall temperature.
