it is all about experience when it comes to about understanding who is good and who is bad.

We just ain't got superpowers to understand that quickly.

But there is certainly a point when you come to know if the person is taking advantage of your honesty.

Following two examples can help out:

You once help that person by giving money because they urgently need it. And then they kind of make it a habit of asking money.

Trust me mate , 90-95% of times a particular relation (whatever relation it is) gets into rough patch because of this debts.

You are always there for them whenever they need you. They not only ignore in your bad times, but they ignore you in their good times too.

You then have to be the most foolish person on this earth to still call them your friends. It's hard but move on pal.
