How do I prepare for KVPY 2018 and I am in class 12 and I have not taken biology . Is it compulsory to give biology exam also in KVPY?

KVPY Exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e. written test. The KVPY Question Paper will be in two languages English & Hindi that are required to be completed in 3 hours.
The number of questions vary in each section and for every stream. The candidates have to attempt all the questions in Part I and Part II for SA Stream. Candidates applying for SB/SX stream have to attempt any three sections in Part I and any two sections in Part II.
KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is a scholarship programme which is initiated and conducted by IISc at the national level to encourage the aspiring students of Basic Science, Engineering, and Medicine to pursue a research career in these fields. Kvpy test is basically taken by students of classes 11th & 12th from science stream and 1st year students of Basic Science, Medicine, and Engineering.
