\underline{STEP\: BY \: STEP \: EXPLANATION:-}

↪4x² + 21x = 6x - 14

↪4x² + 15x + 14 = 0

↪4x² + 8x + 7x + 14 = 0

↪4x(x + 2) + 7(x + 2)= 0

↪(4x + 7)(x + 2) = 0

by equating the factors= 0
You, will get its root

x =  = - \frac{7}{4}

x = - 2

so , Values of x are -2 , -7/4
