How do I solve a fraction to the power of a fraction and still keep it rational? For example, -3/2 ^ 1/4.

if the power is in fraction

like u have given in example

-3/2 ^1/4

so it will be ,

 \sqrt[4]{ -  \frac{3}{2} }

another example,

5/2^1/2

 \sqrt[2]{ \frac{5}{2} }
