y= x/2 ------ eq. 1

2x-y=1------ eq.2

now putting the value of 1. in 2.

we get,

2x - x/2=1

Lcm=2

(2x×2 - x)/2=1

4x-x=2

3x=2

x=2/3

putting value of x in equation 1

we get,

y=2/3/2=2/6=1/3

x=4/3 and y= 1/3

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Here is the answer. I hope it helps you

y=x/2

x=2y this is eq 1

2x-y=1 this is equation 2

substituting eq 1 in eq 2

2(2y)-y=1

4y-y=1

3y=1

y=1/3

substituting y=1/3 in eq 1

x=2(1/3)

x=2/3

therefore x=2/3 y=1/3
