1 st box = h:b

= 4 :3

now as there are equal pictures it is in ratio

1 : 1

here we are not given the number of photo graphs so we have to take such qauntities which divide the ratios perfectly

so trick is take lcm of denominators of all

that is 2 , 5 and 7

so the lcm is 70

so now dustribute them in ratios given

so first box also get 35 pictures and other also 35 pictures as it is 1:1

box 1

h = 4/ 7 * 35

= 20

b =3/7* 35

= 15

similiarly box 2

h = 3 / 5 * 35

= 21

b = 2/5 * 35

= 14

answer 1 total no. of pictures are 70 .

answer 2 we can see that there are 21 hockey players in the second and in first box it is 20

so second box contains more hockey players
